Swiss (both sides) Shooting Thaler.
Most are scarce to very scarce.

Don't know if fake or not: maybe patina and lighting, maybe metal. Example pictured looks rather sickly yellow pallid. You can get that with low grade silver copper nickel alloys.
If fake, the Chinese would have fooled more people if they had pure silver plated it.

There is almost certainly a book published on the subject of Shooting Thalers, but I don't know of one.
Davenport is the most likely author on this subject and has probably published.
