I am looking through the forum this evening and see a number of posts in reference to the reverse of the 2008 silver eagle. Will someone fill me in on that. Is it an error? What is the difference between the 2007 and 2008 reverse, and how can you tell them apart? I have totally missed this one. Thanks

Hi regularguy,

Coins with the reverse of 2008 will have a "U" shaped like a lowercase "u" with the downstroke.

http://www.ngccoin.com/news/viewart...Article=1016 will give you all the places on the coin to check, but the "u" is the easiest place.
