A while back I acquired a book called "Sovereigns of the British Empire" by J.J.Cullimore Allen. This book was published by Spink back in 1965. My question is if this is a rather rare book. Until recently there had never been a used copy offered on Amazon, which suggests that not many copies of this are in circulation. Any comments would be appreciated!

G'day,
I have the above book on my list of "books to buy, when I get the chance".
I have two titles, same author, both 1965, so I suspect I am quoting someone who is misquoting:
"The History of the British Sovereign"
and
"SOVEREIGNS OF THE BRITISH EMPIRE"
ISBN-10: 0900696060
ISBN-13: 978-0900696060

At least, your post confirms that one of these titles is correct.

Sorry, I don't know how rare your book is.
The book by MARSH, 1980, only had a very small print run. I fear that a book published in 1965 would be even scarcer.

Peter

Peter THOMAS- well I Don't actually see an ISBN number within the book, which is quite strange. And Amazon gives both ISBN numbers under the same listing of the book. But it is definitely from 1965.
