Looks like a plain 1881H to me.

It might be lacquered, but it's hard to tell from the photos. The best why to tel is to hold it so slight reflects and to see how glossy the surface and if the fields are flat or if they curve up towards to relief.

Yes, it looks like a vanilla '81 to me. Try a short acetone soak if you think that it's lacquer. You will always see some repunching (however slight) on the N's (from modifying ther 1876 working dies)
