The '82 appears to have a linear plating bubble to the east (running N/S). The '84 has zinc rot around the MM. I'm surprised it is still there. to CCF!

You can use the Search Box above to find topics related to the terms "linear plating bubble" and "zinc rot", but here are a couple. For linear plating bubbles: http://goccf.com/t/247061Here is one I created about zinc rot. It is often associated with the mintmark area because of the plating being split and exposing the zinc core to the elements: http://goccf.com/t/281634

No problem. It sucks, but it is what it is. Zincolns don't last.

Quote: Zincolns don't last. That's true. Without properly storing Zinc cents, this is what could happen. Also, if the Copper plating splits, it will cause the Zinc core to get exposed and the environment eventually takes its toll, causing the Zinc to rot away into nothing.
