I got this coin and wonder why it is heavier than a normal one a lot..

Coin weight=3.11gr =/-.13 Not unusual at all. The Tolerance is not law, a fluctuation of .35 happens frequently, is all dependent of a rolled stock plate, thick or thin by micrometers but within rolled tolerances.

It is most likely from a planchet punched from stock that was rolled a bit thick.
