Impaired proof-like, these are bought and sold as bullion so they often get damaged once cut out of the set. Still a nice coin but it's too bad about the damage because it has a nice heavy cameo.

This coin is a Business Strike and definitely not an impaired Prooflike as alluded to in an earlier post.
Heavy Cameo , Mint State 60.
1964 Dollars are very common with heavy frost and tend to come quite baggy. The above coin is a rather pedestrian example and would only be a bullion coin.

I looked at a few impaired proofs I had stuffed in a tube while enjoying my ham & swiss on lunch and can see my error. Thank you for correcting me PC.

Thanks for posting Wheatback, it's definitely a beautiful cameo for a business strike, too bad about the bag marks.

The 1964 Prooflike coins have mirror surfaces and almost no cameo on most Dollars . OP piece shows numerous bag marks scuffs and scratches and has a matte type finish.
1964 was the last year of the young Head series of Elizabeth II, and for what ever reason there are some remarkable Heavy to Ultra Heavy Cameos available . Especially 25 Cents 50 Cents , Dollars , and Small Cents.. Cheers!
