Got this early in the year was spur of the moment& not sure if there was any demand for these type of coins or tokens? or its mintage numbers? paid $50 for it. Posted it for sale on Facebook market place. and had the ad removed. and right when I had a buyer.I was given an online appeal form to fill out, and no word in over a month.I looked through their rules for their criteria and found only something about not posting anything with overtly sexualized positioning? maybe bc of loin cloth? I thought I had heard these coins were minted at the 1933 Chicago Worlds fair on sight? and by our Government or mint set up by them? perhaps someone reported it? In any case, If its gonna be that big a hassle may as well just hold onto it. not my sort of coin.I had never seen one like it, and didn't know if I would again.

You are expecting sense from Facebook?
Pull the other one, it has bells on it.

I'm sure it doesn't have anything to do with the loin cloth.
FB is not wanting any coins or currency listed and have been
shutting down posts left and right.

I really get a thrill when I come across any of the great world's fair medals and you got a nice one. I would have happily paid $50 for it, too!

Cool coin. Especially cool if they minted them on site at the Fair itself. Neat bit of numismatic history there.

FB marketplace has plenty of other coins, even seeing ones in my area that were posted long before I posted mine. After researching it further,it was indeed Minted on-site at the 1933 Chicago Worlds fair,& by a temporary mint set up by our Government. Figured since it was 1933 that was the depression era, didn't know how many folks may of brought these or what total mintage was? maybe I will take to my local coin shop and they will trade me for 2 ounces of silver. thanks for the input & replies on this medal!
