Need some feed back about this 1995 D Lincoln Cent. Front and back seem to have errors. Cant seem to find any info about 1995 with front and back errors. What do you guys think?
This is called Die Deteriorating Doubling. It's caused by a worn die. Although, this is very common and doesn't carry any value over face value. It's still interesting though since it makes a great educational learning piece. https://www.errorvariety.com/OFD/DDD.html
Mommyfelix, Just a FYI: What your coin has and what you are calling an error is actually called a variety. This info may help you when you are researching online. Also, when you post a photo and question please tell us more detailed description as to what you are seeing. John1
@john1 Thank you very much for the pointers. I'm really new to this..... I started hunting a few months ago but barely got real into it.I appreciate the help and hope to be learning lots more.
