Picked this up today for $5 and don't know much about this coin. What are the good, bad & ugly. Thanks

Looks well struck with ms sharpness but no luster so I would settle in high Au range. 55 sounds right to me. A bargain for $5. Congrats

I see it as an XF-40.

looks legit, nice strike, photos show detail but not luster per @numismatic student. Liberty is a bit mangled and rim over the T and rim ding ~ shape over the ICA in America on the reverse. AU details with the rim issues (and some minor scratches in the hair)
Rest in Peace

Photo or scan of the coin has lost any depth and appears quite monotonic. While it appears to be in the AU range a photo with luster and depth would help determine an exact grade, as well as possible cleaning.

Regardless, it's a sweet coin.

Looks AU but hard to tell from these photos if it has been cleaned. Coin looks legit with the obverse lamination on the edge by LIBERTY.
