I am fortunate enough to bank at a fairly small bank, I know every ones name and they know mine. I always ask if anything fun has popped up and it is usually not much. Last night however, as I stepped into the bank one of the younger tellers lit up like a sun when she saw me and she couldn't wait for me to get to the counter. Of course I never know what their finds might be but the excitement is always there. The teller opened her drawer and pulled out a money envelope and proceeded to hand it to me, inside were bills, lots of bills. It turns out that another teller had been stashing different money and was now now longer at the bank. I went through the stack and pulled out the instant must haves, star notes of every denomination except for the darn $2. The gem of the bunch was a 1969 $100 star and now I need more currency pages for my album

Having to get more pages is the best problem to have.

Fortunate to have a small bank like that. Any of them I've been to around here are larger and impersonal.

Small towns often equals small banks. Same tellers for 50 years until they retire, which means Ike dollars, any Kennedy, and wheat cents are junk to them.

Hello cachencoins, it is very close but unfortunately is not a fancy Serial number. It needed to be 59595959 2 digit repeater or 59599595 two digit radar. Never the less, still a nice feeling when you see something close.

I got to get up the courage to ask my banks to hook me up with some returned currency's. Although, I feel they will just say we will add you to the list of hundreds of other, once I do,
