Anyone have any information on the reason there appears to be 2 varieties of the COA folder for the 2011 canoe $20 for $20 coin?

Is one more valuable or rarer than the other?

Attached are scans showing the difference in size and content.

I think the smaller one was released to fit the mint 20 for 20 case.

100% correct.

Does anyone have a COA for the case? lol.
The case itself initially had a "mintage" that ended up much higher than stated.

There were 1 or 2 other coins if I remember correctly that had the same issue. Anyone that bought the box from the mint got replacement coas which kind of defeats the purpose of the coa.

Thanks for all the responses.

Now that I recall, I believe that is how the smaller one was gotten. It also explains why there is no 'coin flip' for the smaller one.

For the Maple Leaf I remember the absence of the card. Just blue cardboard pouch/small pack and standard RCM COA (for all subsequent coins in the series - no dedicated COA)

The first has a COA in the blue pouch with the coin. It's a traditional small folded square COA like most RCM coins.

The coins also came attached (the rubber glue stick-em) to a plain black RCM branded display card as shown here:
