There are only two gold 1904 So-Called Dollars, this Coin World article provides more information about the design and other information https://www.coinworld.com/news/us-c...-dollar.html

When the bidding ends will the final price realized be anywhere near the high estimate of $15,000?

In viewing the auction lots, this is Lot 2002. The preceding three lots are other examples of this medal in a different metal.

Lot 1999 is the brass version, Lot 2000 is aluminum, 2001 is silver.

Cool! I didn't think a so-called dollar could be made of gold until I read this.
