reverse looks xf40, but obverse looks vf20. wear on liberty's legs looks pronounced. obverse shield looks damaged. why did you choose this coin?

Quote: obverse shield looks damaged That's most definitely just some accumulated dirt. I chose it as it has original surfaces and very nice circulation cameo.

Nice crusty original example with a very pretty reverse. If that's dirt caked into the shield, xf-40 easily.
This is one where an acetone bath would do it some good. If it could remove some of the caked in dirt on the shield, the eye a appeal would go up a point or two in my book.

XF-40 Very nice, original looking piece and I quite like it just as it is.

@Hadleydog... I mentioned you on the 'why no love for Peace dollar' thread. Your monster toner is needed.

VF35 nice album coin This is one where I'd check and see what's under that gunk in LIBERTY with a toothpick after some acetone, just a small area first. I usually don't mess with good dirt, but this one bothers me for some reason
