Quote: I guess this is not a true rotator note as I'm told the ones don't qualify Check out http://goccf.com/t/318765&whichpage=2 or the thread on "Rare notes (bank runs)" where 2 members discuss possible # patterns of rotator notes.

 - not sure if this is a "keeper" although it happens to be a "large seal" 1935 $20 (& although in low grade quite original- with great colour/ no pressing present). Bought it from a lady in her eighties who nabbed it as a bank teller (in 1950's-1970's).

Quote: what did you pay for this note, if it's ok to ask. It was about 5 years ago and I think I paid her a fair BV price at the time. I took my Charlton with me and showed her all the BV for each note and usually settled on a grade lower because it was difficult to ascertain the grade in the dim light of her apartment (I wish I brought my own light and magnifying glass) I bought several notes (her husband's collection -over 20 1937 $1 Coyne/Towers (BC-21d) & majority had a tiny spot of glue residue on the margin (which I didn't see at the time) so I believe she did very well. I probably took a hit on the 37's but am fortunate that the 1935 went up in BV (even though its in low grade).
