The A in states for a Close AM will be closer to the second T. Wide AM, The A in states will have equal distance between the two T's. so like this for the Close AM = ST ATES Like this for the Wide AM = STATES Report this Post to the Staff

It was the first thing I looked at when starting the WAM, CAM variety, quiet some time ago! I remember these images :P I should start a saying if it hasn't been already, Close AM, BUT NO CIGAR! The distance between the A and M can vary due to die wear and/or polishing. On the Wide AM the M is centered between the A and E. Again the distance may vary but since the wear and polishing affects both sides the M remains centered. Report this Post to the Staff
