Also look at the scratches are those die clashes.

That baby looks good. There's something going on with it. Nice pics on it. Looks like DDO to me, don't know which one but like what I see.

I don't see a DDO but I do see a die clash, a die crack, and a die chip.

The 9 and 8 of 1984 keep whispering DDO 006...and RT or Liberty look to me as some doubling. I can see why you posted this one. One thing for sure is I'm not sure. Dang those 84's aint they beautifull? I stare at them trying to make them DDO's even when their not. Coins like yours get me all twisted up searching back and fort between all the sites and my books. The hunt, and maybe sometimes the kill. Coin roll hunting is a blast isn't it? I'm surprised others haven't commented, for me I seem to have to be told no 3 times. I do know this , when I compare a definite DDO to one of my maybes the true DDO screams at the other "your an impostor". I still think yours is one of the lesser strong DDO's for that year.

I see two maybe three die cracks and a clash.. I also see what you're talking about in the 9 & 8 luvmyCAM, but can't commit to 'em -- I'm getting that 'impostor' nudge of flatness over-riding notching & too large a "split" serif.. A bit of strangeness in the over-under with the 9 too..

Looks pretty normal to me. All I see is minor Die Clashes, and an abraided die. There's no Doubled Die Obverse.

The "notch" on the 9 is just a lighting effect. Two light sources on both sides of the 9 creates a small shadow that appears like a notch. You can tell because there is no extra thickness on any number in the date.
