Their interpretation of 'original dies' I happen to think is rather 'sharp', and that the dies are original to themselves.
My strong suspicion is that the dies are of modern manufacture, and if that is the case, are of Chinese origin.
? Why else would they offer such a product for ten pounds?
There is a problem here, in that this coin could be 'laundered' by re offering it 'innocently', as a genuine coin, by an unknowing 'victim', who purchased this product.
There is a huge number of varieties in genuine 1797 Cartwheels, which would make this fraud harder to detect, by anyone who is not a specialist in this series. The pictures, in this case, are next to useless.
