Wondering about the age and use of this token. The language is pretty obvious. I'd guess 1930s or 1940s from other things that were found, but I don't know. Any info appreciated.

As you can see, both sides are the same.

According to this, it was just a token. There's no date range for when they were made, but considering that it translates to 'for consumption' maybe it was a ration token made during war times.
