*** Edited by Staff to Add Year / Mintmark / Denomination to Title. Titles are Important! ***

(I posted this as a reply to another thread but thought it might be more helpful to collectors under its own title as well.)

Good morning all.

Thought I would share some info on the 2017p WDDO-017 Lincoln Cent since I have found 3 in change in the north and east coast area of Florida.
DoubledDies.com WDDO-017 crosses over to VarietyVista DDO-001

The images at VV include a reverse marker: a die chip on the edge of the shield over E (PLURIBUS) as well as the strong doubling on RUST (TRUST).

Here are the links:

WDDO-017
John Wexler said he will update the images of the reverse marker as well as the thickness on RUST when he next updates his site.

DDO-001
VarietyVista has not updated the 2017P varieties yet and currently only has the images accessible through the 2016P page. Near the top of the 2016p page is a link to 2017p DDO varieties. Click on that quick link to get to the 2017p DDO-001.

Hope this helps people find this DDO for 2017 since the thickness and distortion on TRUST is fairly substantial.
Thanks for looking.

I've found one of these, and it's not in substantial condition. It's a nice little coin.

Thanks to all for the warm welcome.

I'm mostly into Lincoln's and had searched wheats exclusively until the beginning of 2017 when I started bank roll searching.
I found my first two WDDO-017/DDO-001 on back to back weekends last year from what little change I got after using plastic for most purchases.

CoinCollector2000, if you don't mind my asking, what part of the country did you find yours in?

And you can all certainly call me Pete, Pedro, Pierre or even Cliff, no preference.
Just don't call me late for dinner. Ba-dum-bum

Pierre if you click on a posters name it will take you to the bio page. CC2000 is from Bama.

I chose Pierre because I am originally from New Orleans area.

Oui, Tres Bien DrDon and merci.

And good info about the bio page and I was going to ask if he found it locally but wanted to be sure of where he found it.

His makes the eighth I have heard about. Illinois- 1, S. Carolina-1, Florida Pan handle-2, Jacksonville- 1, SE Florida coast-2, and now Alabama- 1

(BTW- I took French in high school in Maine in 19... well lets say more than 20 years ago.)
