I'm assuming a LDS with Struck Through Grease on the reverse "quarter dollar" as the rims are raised. Not a weak strike. Also the obverse, last "9" in date.... an extra metal layer in the loop? Please and thank you for your opinions.
The reverse was Struck Through Grease and the "9" in "1989" is just Post Strike Damage, since it's just a scratch. Very nice find and example of a Struck Through Grease error. Definitely a keeper in my book.
You're very welcome and no problem! Make sure to put it in a 2x2 coin flip for protection and label it "1989 P Quarter Struck Through Grease" with the reverse side face up.
