If you look at my profile picture, that's the same 1984 "Doubled Ear" DDO that I've found last year. I would recommend an Acetone soak. It will not harm the coin. Make sure to use 100 percent pure Acetone only. Leave you coin in there for 3 to 4 hours. Errers and Varietys. Report this Post to the Staff

Errers and Varietys Bedrock of the Community United States 74624 Posts	Posted 06/07/2018 1:24 pm You're very welcome. You should try doing an Acetone soak for 3 to 4 hours. It will help and your coin will look much better. I've done this to my example and it looks great now. Here's my thread from last year. Look at what my coin used to look like before its Acetone bath.
