Hello, I have came across a 1972 penny that I need help with. The front of the penny seems to be printed close to the rim & the back of the penny is almost not there. The only thing on the back are three marks
(Columns) in the middle. You can slightly see the images of Lincoln between two of them. There is also two places on the penny that seem to be missing. I'm not sure what I have found but I have never seen a penny like this before. I'm not sure if this is valuable or if it's just a misprint. Please help with any information that you may have. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
Thank You So Very Much For Your Help :-)

It's PMD. Not a mint error.

that someone went crazy with something.

I think it looks kinda cool how they just left Abe all alone.

To the Forum.
PMD
Short for post mint damage. Damage sustained after the coin was struck.

Even our Mint couldn't make that much of a mess. It happened after it was made.

To CCF! It's Post Strike Damage (meaning that it happened after it left the U.S. Mint) You can see the grinded down and flattened metal from a Dremel. It's only worth face value, since it's damage.
Errers and Varietys.
