Yeah, it's only a pity that 20kg is the limit on luggage taking so when I come back I'll have to bring about 10 other friends just to carry all MY luggage, let alone just getting there in the first place!!!

If you are migrating there it is a limit of 30kg. 20kg is just for holidays.
If you need someone to help carry luggage, look no further......LOL

I loved living in Germany for my 2 years. Lived in Hanau, but was able to travel all over Germany and most Western Europe.

Kid,
I have never seen a German banknote pre 1900. So my guess is if it exists it is expensive.

During our recent trip to Europe, the closest we got to Germany was Belgium and France.
I wanted to visit Germany due to the beauty I know is to be found there, and part of my ancestry is German. Regarding coin collecting, I wanted to collect some banknotes.
Which brings me to the purpose of this post.
Is there anyone in the forum who would be interested in selling me some German banknotes? Or perhaps trading for some.
If so, please let me know.

What type are you after: Modern or Old State Printed (notgeld) or Federal issue. East, West or Unified issues Small or large denomination Regualr or scarce issues.
I used to have a huge collection but now have downsized, I still have a few that I need to part with.
Let me know what you are after and I should be able to help anyone out.
