Just over a month ago I was going through my storage boxes. I found one my grandpa left me. I opened it to my surprise it was coins and some paper money. 17 silver dollars and lots of half dollars. 1908 D $20 : 1901 S $20 and lots of pennies. Of them yes the 1909 S VDB and 1922 no d penny.
I am a collector of baseball cards, mainly the Seattle Mariners (Go M's!) and southeast Alaska native American art both carvings and baskets. I am now hooked on collecting coins, I don't know if that is a good thing..... :)

Hi PinkyStub,

First of all, Big Welcome to the Community!

As far as I know, coin collectors have been around since before the Roman Empire and there are a lot of appealing reasons not to be dying off in the near future. Whatever the case is, give it a shot. You have nothing to lose, only to gain

There is no law that dictates just how many or what kind of junk, er, items we may collect! My wife says I do a good job at the former...
