Hi all,

Wanted to get an opinion on this 1953 I found as the font appears to be much thicker than a standard 1 cent.

Could this be in any way related to a double die or no?

I've posted comparison pics for both sides of a standard 1953 as well.

I'm new to this so I appreciate any comments!

Might it be a an early-stage Dryer Coin?

Looks to me like a coin that's been run through a tunbler. All the devices have been pounded.

Wouldn't the integrity of the outer lip of coin be impacted then as well? It seems all distortion is just within like it was pressed incorrectly on both sides but was still cut clean
