FRN Serial Number Questions $1.00

The first set of serial #'s are definately a form of "bookends." Bookends can be 2 or 3 digits. I believe that when the note has four digits in a bookend sequence, it's refered to as something else. I can post some that I have, if you'd like to see them. It could also be a form of a birthday note for July 20,1980.
I'm not an expert, but I don't think that the 2nd set of serials that you posted is a collectible serial #. I go through about 5,000 different $1.00 notes a week and see serials like this all the time.
Maybe, if my resources were unlimited, I'd save every note with a slightly fancy serial #. With a collection of about 200 $1.00, I keep just stars notes, those with a low serial of three or more 0's, and those with a serial # that are more obvious with kind of a "wow" factor.
Again, not an expert. I just like having fun with the hobby. Someone else may have a different opinion.
