I am assuming this is Chinese, but I'm not sure. What year is it? Denomination?

Nice find! It's from Fengtien province, China, dated year 24 91898). Denomination is in the center of the second photo, can't quite make it out but looks like a 10 cent piece. The coin looks genuine to me, but being a scarce coin worth several hundred dollars in this condition you really should have it authenticated if you plan to sell it.

I just did some searching using your info and found one on ebay that sold for $15. Why so low?

Cause there are many fakes and I think these Spanish sellers are selling fakes, only slabbed ones will command a premium.

^ yep, the $15 one is a weakly made fake. Compare yours to the one that sold for over $1,500 :)
