Is the Post strike damage where the mint mark location is at?

Not the right location for a mintmark.
The D & S mintmarks were located higher up.

Also is NOT a "small date, high 7" for two reasons.1) tail too long, tilted and has inside crease...#2, and this is the biggie, ONLY the 1970S's have the small date die modification. The P+D minted coins are ALL LARGE DATE!

It's Post Strike Damage (it happened after it left the U.S. Mint). Also, it isn't a Small Date. It's a Large Date.

Thank you for all your advice. I have a few 1970 minted s I just thought the longer 9 was a small date and the shorter nine less curve was a large date I ll post more pictures later to see if those are small date thanks again

Concur with the advice given above - this is a PMD large date 1970 Lincoln Cent.

Nope. 1970S small dates are very rare to find in the wild, after 1 million plus searched cents I have found...0.
