Exactly
It shows the reversed image not just of N but much of the intaglio print of the face on the face.
Such reversal happens but all instances that are seen are of the face printing offsetting on the back or the back printing offsetting on the front.

Anything is possible. But then if that would be the case it would be easy to replicate it. Also in such a case it would be easy to replicate the transfer of ink from face of one note to the back of another note by pressing them together as would happen when two sides of the folded notes meet.I would dread to think that something like that (wetting of surface transferring ink to another surface) can be easily done because in my mind it would devalue many of the error notes in the E2-Ink Smears and E3-Offset Printing Category.
I very much doubt that the note got wet and transferred the ink in this manner. This is a very neat and clean transfer. Both the original printing and the transferred image are without smudges.
