Finally found my first 98 WAM. Already have 3 2000's. This old $25 box has been giving me some good stuff plus some rolls I got. Still have 3k cents to look through lol. Coin is really nice looking although is does have some split plating above united & states :( Its hung in there for 20yrs, hopefully that continues

Hmm didn't even notice that now that you've mentioned it. Wonder if that's what caused the spilt plating issue. See a bit on ER of America now also. Was still excited to see the FG, that's what I look for now. Had to do a double take & check the date again ;)

Very nice find and congratulations! It looks like it could be possibly in Mint State condition.

EV, if it's not, I'd be surprised. It's perfect besides the split plating. That made me sad face pretty hard. Even so, the exposed zinc is brand new looking, sucks.

Looks like the copper plating has been worn away on the top obverse rim or is that just toning?. Maybe get it in a 2x2 soon. Even give it a coat of Verdi-Care.

Just toning. Been in a 2x2 since day one after a quick acetone dip. Not that it needed it but I touched the outside

Hey , I'm very happy with it. Been awhile since Ive found one, all the 2000's came out of rolls from my bank. This came out of a old bank box possibly purchased 6-7 yrs ago. All au/bu in the 90s above with some nice 80s, only has 2010/11 shield cents in it, all customer wrapped. Counted 23 of those so far with every roll opened & filled a coin tube with memorial ddrs. Loving this box !
