I'm stuck on this one. 1957-D LWC, is this a "BIE" error or some PMD that flattened the E and pushed the metal out? First 2 pictures are of a normal minted 57-D.

Thanks David. Yeah, maybe the High Mag pic shows it's starting to become a "BIE" - I couldn't really tell by the lower Mag pics.
