I dont know if its Augustus but its possible.

Bottom pic appears to be Augustus from a Divus Julius Caesar issue from Thessalonica, Macedon.

I see Is this considered Octavian with Julius Caesar... or Augustus with Julius Caesar?

Do you think he kept his original name?

Its a shame the Julius Caesar side is so worn, or this would be a very nice find.
