Hey squad! I was recently put in touch with a lady from my area that has 66 Liberty V nickels available ranging in years from 1901-1912. They all seem to be in g-f shape from my untrained eye. She is asking $100. Is this something that I should consider? Keep in mind that I am a newer collector and have mainly collected halves, Morgans and Peace dollars. Any input is helpful! Thank you!

It's a difficult question to answer without seeing the coins - are there any AGs? How many Fines? Any with spotting or other problems? to the CCF!

It's really hard for me to say too. The pictures that she sent me are rather blurry. Some of the coins have deep nicks and are essentially cull but there are a handful that are near Fine status from my opinion. hmmm

I just sold two "Almost complete set, 1883-1912d" For $80 plus shipping on sleezeebay. No, those are VERY common dates, maybe worth no more than $,60 apiece! check out my "From the darkside" set! on the other site I use...here's a pix: This has the semi-key dates of 1884, 1887 & 1894, the no cents/with cents issues and the other lower mintages. I may have some grab bags of 50 for sale coming up, I'll put some on CCF in a few days. a lot cheaper than $100!...try $25!

I vote no, $1.50 a piece is high, you can easily buy them for less than a $1 a piece and in the same average condition too

Unless the 1912 have a D or S mint mark, that price of $100 is no bargain.

I would value those around $0.35 to $0.50 per coin at the most.

I don't see a single coin before 1900. Say no.
