In my opinion it's Machine Doubling, a good way to tell is if the doubling reduces the size of the letters, its Machine Doubling. This effect is most noticable on the P and B.

I assume you check the resources to see if you can match to a known listing first, before you post here? Why I ask, is that helps you practice looking at what is an actual hub doubled event. It also helps develop a "location memory", where you cement in your mind specific details of that date and the doubling associated with it. Is one of the tools that helped myself and others learn, and even be able to quote the # off top of our pinheads at times!

Your questions are also great for those of us that have never explored error coinage to any degree.

While I know a lot of varieties by sight, these questions and answers have been great for me, too.

It's Machine Doubling, since the devices are reduced in size, and it's shelflike in appearance.
