Got a question—generally will a XF 58 coin have better eye appeal than a MS 60 coin? I was reading the grading criteria and seems to be what I gather

Yes AU 58s are almost ALWAYS MUCH nicer than 60s. 58s of today are things that would be 63ish or higher if it wasn't for some wear.

60s of today in recent slabs are generally dogs that as a half second away from being a details coin

So would it be better to have a AU58 coin rather than a MS60 or 61 coin—i would think the purist coin person would want the 58 due to better eye appeal—-do 58 usually sell less than 60?

In my experience, an uncirculated coin will always have more value than a circulated coin. AKA Higher numbers = more value

Coins are weird
