I am very grateful to all of you. I'm looking to get this coin graded for sale and I'm interested onwhat company to use. I'm new to errors and even though ive collected for years never graded a coin. Thanks to coin community.also what grade might it get?

to CCF. Even with the blurry pics, it is not worth having graded. Value one cent. What made you think it was worth a premium?

Your coin is normal. Not the rare one.
of the 8 possible combinations for this year
large/small X P/D X Copper/Zinc
all are common except for the rare - not supposed to exist, but does - 1982 Denver Copper Small date.
Rest in Peace

Only 1 known example of the 1982D small date was "supposedly" discovered and attributed 35 years after the fact. This means it was a total fluke, if indeed is a real mint error, seems odd to show up this many years later to me, and TPGs are known to have graded countetfeits... go figure. When and if others surface, I may then change my mind..

Besides that pertinent info, go ahead and "send it in"...you'll learn the process and how much it costs. You see, a general rule is you must have a coin worth above $150 to really make attribution and your profit worthwhile. Costs can run $80 or more, with mailing, insurance and fees. Be thankful we saved y as many Mr. Bucks!

This is wonderful news. You gentlemen have twice now spared me the fate of throwing away capital that can be used to buy more coins. I have been collecting them for years. Only now do I have the time to learn the ropes. I extend my gratitude to all of you. Thank you coin c. And each and every one of you. I have a mountain of coins to learn and practice with. So much fun thanks again.
Rest in Peace
