This is a Close AM, since the A is close to the M.

The spacing between the A and the M should be about the same as the spacing between the M and E on a Wide AM. It should appear as A M E instead of AM E on a Wide AM.

Nope, it's a CAM, which is normal for 1994-D.

If in doubt always check the FG - Close no serifs, Wide YES serifs on the G
This is the G with serifs - meaning Wide AM
