Almost certainly genuine Empress Severina antoninianus Reverse CONCORDIAE MILITVM
Severina was the wife of the emperor Aurelian She reigned as near to a co equal as any empress ever Some coins even seem to show a bit of a moustach !
She possibly reigned on her own for a short period after the assassination of her husband

Agree the coin is legit. You now have the oldest coin in your collection. This coin was minted around 275AD. Severina was the wife of the emperor Aurelius and ruled on her own for about a year after his death. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ulpia_SeverinaIf you think that's cool, then you've come to the right place.

I am a bit more skeptical than most, but I think this one genuine as well.
A nice coin with which to start a collection of Roman coins.

As you are probably afraid to ask I will give you an appraisal About VF condition You might see people asking $50 or more but a 'realistic' price would be between 10-25 dollars With great patience 10 With great eagerness 25 Ancients like this one tend to have a wide range.

With ancient coins, there is as much fun in learning about them, as there is in collecting them. One slight problem with this reasoning: it disregards the fact that it is very nice to actually acquire the hardware you have learnt about.
I have about 100 or so U.S. coins, but I also have about 300 or so ancients, of all cultures. My first love is ancients. The average value per coin in each part of the collection would be about the same.
There is much more to learn that has been written about ancient coinages, and many scholars have attained pHd's researching ancient coinages. Nevertheless, many books have been written with the beginner in mind.
