Hi,

The crack that appears from the top of Lincolns head running behind the ear and down to the nape of the neck is a die crack? I don't think its post mint damage - on the other hand I am just making a guess based on my searching Google and this site for help in identifying the correct culprit of the crack: mint error vs post mint.

1. Assuming, arguendo, the coin is graded 66/66+ would a die crack add or subtract value? It seems subjective and I am at a loss as to how pricing is affected by 1 off's or fluke coin errors.
2. What type of error/damage do you think it is?

Thank you for taking a look.

It looks to me like a huge Retained Interior Die Break.
And a really nice one at that.
