Overall, Unc details (cleaned). Perhaps some minor oxidation at "One" on reverse.

Mustache and beard under ear a bit indistinct on the high points, slight falt area on lower band of crown, band on orb has survived reasonably well, (obv.), feathers have a flat area at the high point, but that may be due to not being struck up fully, as well as a tiny amount of wear at this point (rev.).

Mint luster retained between the lettering and around the edges of the design, both sides, but in open fields, most of the mint luster gone. A light clean the cause of this?
Oxidation stains noted.

Overall a slightly weak strike, but wear equivalent to
AU55.

Still, it is a reasonably nice coin.

Badly cleaned.
At PCGS or NGC its a "details grade".
Aussie grade would be "cleaned EF".

Was once a nice coin until some genius came up with an idea to make it look better by using there talent to make the coin look better by dipping, rubbing, cleaning. What a waste. Sorry to be so direct but it's just a piece of silver bullion. Could be a starter coin as a hobby for a child..

It's grade is EF [AU53] however obvious cleaning would preclude a TPG awarding a grade. The 'ONE' is okay.

If not cleaned they might give that a 55 but 53 is correct.

The silver value of a 1925 shilling is about $3 and cleaning does not destroy all it's value - this example is worth a few times it's bullion value.

I appreciate everyone's feedback. It was an inexpensive purchase, so I'm happy even with the cleaning.
