This one seems to have a different finish almost like a satin finish. But I know nothing about Buffalo nickles.

this one is interesting. the overall look says AU but the details say MS. MS61

I'll say 63 (and assume this is not the actual color!). Obverse rim issues at K3 are a drawback.

JD, I just posted my recent acquire of this seeming similar obverse die, check this out:

If you follow the whole thread, my results were exceptional. I'd say yours has many issues, that separated edge isn't good and it is pretty rough. Looking at the carpet/backing color between pix, the coin does have an orange-ish hue, if it is gold like the one I had, it may be saved, this looks coated tho.

I'm no expert here, but I don't like the look of the surface finish.
I question if its Chinese reproduction.
