I'm pretty sure this is a 47. and yet ICCS did not attribute as such.

Beside the fact there are two dots showing, the dot
on your coin appears smaller and slightly lower than
a genuine 47 dot.

Ok...New variety Double Dot...lol...I thought the placement and size was slightly off but it is a VF coin. Die chip it is then...

You're missing the usual markers. On a true 1947 dot nickel you can always look for the other dots. There should always be a dot inbetween the 2nd A and the D of CANADA. There should also be a dot below the N to CENTS.

I new there as a marker somewhere but not being a collector
of Nickels, I forgot what it was. I pulled up a picture and
will keep it in my file for future reference.
