Came across this quarter and it looks like it has some doubling and the rim on the bottom seems to have an error. New to coin collecting and would like to get more information about this coin so all info is appreciated.

Its called a collar clash, the collar die struck the obverse die at some point causing this impression onto the obverse die. Nice find!

I don't think so. Just looks like the ridge of metal that gets left behind as the coin is pushed out of the collar and roughness on the collar scrapes down the edge of the coin.
