Very interesting. If that is on the coin and not the case I would say YES.

By the way I don't think it is on the case.

Looks like a reflection. If not, might be some sort of a trail die? John1

Take a photo with the lighting and camera in the same position relative to each other but turn the coin 180 degrees. See it the anomalies are in the same position. Do not take the coin from its holder

Looks very cool and interesting. I'm wondering what it could be?
Errers and Varietys.

It is a reflection of the letters from the inside surface of the plastic. That inside reflection is visible on the mirror finish of the field of the coin.

It looks very much like a reflection of the letters where they hit the casing and bounce back to the coin surface!

OK but how does a "T" reflect over to the "H" in "HUK"? Also please post the reverse.

Quote: how does a "T" reflect over to the "H" in "HUK"? Good point! I think another whole picture with the coin out of the casing will help.

Quote: OK but how does a "T" reflect over to the "H" in "HUK"? That's not a "T" -- the horizontal part is the hyphen (part of the lettering) and the vertical part is the reflection of the "H".

I have seen similar effects when photographing my slabbed Ikes.

It looks like a reflection on whatever it's being held in. You'll see that a lot with images of proof coins.

My dad was a barber. He had a mirror on the wall in front of his chair and one on the wall behind. When sitting in the chair you could see your reflection repeating off into the distance because of the two mirrors. You can see that happening in the op's photo at least twice
