Hi to all, I am new to this so beeee gentle. I live in Australia and have a modest collection of US coins and want to chat with like-wise. My collection covers all coins to the US quarters and starts about the late 1800's but there a lot of gaps in coins as well as knowledge. I also collect Australian (of course) English and New Zealand plus World. If I can assist anyone from my side of this globe please ask. I will do my best. regards Roger  |

Glad to have people from other places than just us US people. Better for a well rounded discussion. As to collecting rolls, I wouldn't if I were you. I used to do that. At one time I had hundreds of dollars worth of brand new rolls. Since they were all recent, not much value and since I'm on the older side, not much future in collecting something that will be just a pile of rolls of coins with no object or decent value. Sorry I have no idea of how you could find a web site for them. Just out of curiousity, couldn't you just go to a bank that deals with foreign moneys and ask for them? I would think that rolls of our cents being sent via mail would be rather on the expensive side. Not sure.

Thanks for your input, but banks over here don't buy foreign coins from anywhere (just notes) and it is very hard to get, build collections from loose change.

If you check the rules for the forum you will see that you are limited from buying selling or trading until you have reached 50 "quality" posts.
however mate, if you will be patient and contribute and learn and ask questions for a short time, once you have hat that magical number, I might be able to hook you up with some coins,

Yep !...Once you get to 50 posts.....you can buy, sell, and trade for any and everything. So glad to see our Aussie brothers coming on board here !...  |
