VF-25. What's all that whitish static on the cheek and neck?

Not sure, sellers photos. Acetone bath awaits it when it arrives. I'm thinking maybe glue or shellac which should come off easily.

Coin arrived, a quick Acetone bath eliminated the white crusties which turned out to be old glue.

Oh yeah, that little conservation effort really paid off. The only scratches worth noting are a tiny tick just above the crown, a ding on the cheek, and the more noteworthy one heading over the edge at 9':45. The leaves really popped out now. I am gonna stretch and call it a 40.
