Only saw the kilo once. But that's why I have plenty left to clean. Most of the time, over the years, I've bought small batches like yours. Never know how good they'll be. Like buying lottery tickets. :-)

Can't wait to get it going. Pretty excited no matter what condition it will be fun and exciting adventure hopefully I like it enough to still do it years from now so my youngest daughter who just turned 1 can get involved also.

Nothing gets you interested in history like holding it in your hand. Imagine where the coin has been, and who held it in hand. So many of the coins were first paid to Roman soldiers. I always try to imagine the soldier who first held the coin, and maybe the day he buried his coins before his legion marched off to war. There are not many ancient artifacts that you can own and hold in your hand instead of seeing them in pictures or museums. But these old coins are real history that you can afford to collect.

I never thought about it quite like that. Definitely going to think about that every time I clean them now. I got an ancient a while back in a collection of coins I bought but never got into it then just thought it would be one of those one thing only but recently I decided to look into cleaning them and so I did research and research but never really found what they looked like before and after to know if quality and all that. But I ordered that first lot then few said somethings so I found one that might be a little better for the same price as last lot. So I will try these two lots out. See if I like it and what I get from them. I'll keep you guys updated. And I'll be posting when I receive them
