*** Edited by Staff to Add Year / Mintmark / Denomination to Title. Titles are Important! ***

I was giving this coin from a vending machine about 12 yrs ago.I saw it weird so I put it away. Can some one tell just about how much is worth. Is normal in one side and the rim is normal no damage, but the face is another story the year is hard to read.

To CCF! You've come to the right place. It was Struck Through Die Cap. Very nice find and congratulations! I'm glad you held onto it. It also is worth much more than face value as well. http://www.lincolncentresource.com/...Die_Cap.html

Super nice find! It is a struck through cap. Is definitely worth a good amount over face value.

These are the posts I like to read when browsing the CCF. Much better than telling someone their "Doubled die" is actually MD.
