Anyone ever seen anything like this before? It looks cool but is has to be done some sort of fake correct? All comments are appreciated. Thanks for your time!

My initial non-expert best guess is some kind of Cypriot Lycian imitation of the Athenian owl type. But it could easily be something else entirely; I'd need to look it up.

It does feel far too good to be true, however. Is it your coin? What is the size and weight?

EDIT: misremembered where I recognized the letter from - Lycian, of course, not Cypriot

It is not my coin, however if it is real it will be mine. I too think it is too good to be true.

Teththiveibi, Lycia minted facing roosters and owls, but I'm not sure they did them in combination. Worth looking that direction, though.

Size and weight? It looks like a stater (~8-10 grams) or a tetradrachm (~14-17g).

If it is a genuine larger denomination, this would easily be a 4-5 figure coin. Anyone who knows what they are doing wouldn't sell a coin like this without doing some serious homework, and probably wouldn't ask a price low enough for you to entertain buying this on a whim.

I'd stay away!

Then it probably is.
Coin looks similar to the one jimbucks showed but not the same.
I'd stay away, it just doesn't look right.
